HSGC is the manifestation of the expansion and rebranding of Hallema’s World - which was started in 2009 by award-winning communications expert, Hallema Sharif.
HSGC is a woman- and minority-owned full-service communications, marketing, and public relations firm. Sharif has more than 30 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing and public relations – representing a broad spectrum of clients, including Burson-Marsteller, Black Entertainment Group, the American Lung Association, AstraZeneca, McDonald’s, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Under Sharif’s leadership, HSGC’s team has expanded to include a core group of six diverse, seasoned industry professionals who collectively have close to 200 years of executive level experience in public relations, marketing, cause- related marketing, communications, partnership development, advocacy, military service, production, and research analytics. Should USDA/FSIS require non-routine (crisis) outreach assistance, HSGC will draw on its Crisis Communications team – a group of select individuals with extensive crisis communications experience. Equally as diverse and seasoned is the cadre of freelancers who have aligned themselves with HSGC, enabling it to flex up and down in scale and scope, as projects require. Flexibility and creativity are at the core of each initiative that HSGC members have designed. When times change, HSGC changes with it.
